Born in the historic neighborhood of Zaina Kadal, Kashmir, Mushtaq Ali represents a deep, continuous lineage of master artisans. From an early age, training began under the strict tutelage of family elders.
For decades, Mushtaq Ali has refined the art of Copperware, focusing specifically on the Kalai stage of production. Performs the tinning process to coat the inside of copper pots. The workshop remains a sanctuary of traditional methods, where ancestral knowledge is preserved.
